RiVidium’s Approach
RiVidium’s SOAEngine™ deploys reference models, created through the ArchitectureEngine™, to your SOA infrastructure. Our SOAEngine deploys Business Reference Models (BRM) and System Reference Models (SRM) to the Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI). Using EA to capture an organization service portfolio is a key component to successful SOA adoption as it allows better decision making on the creation, performance and retirement of capabilities. Our approach encourages re-use and cost avoidance. Several organizations fail at SOA adoption because they have not properly assessed existing capabilities as a precursor activity. Our approach captures existing service capabilities and helps you identify gaps in your environments. Furthermore, we platform to govern aspects of these capabilities in large enterprises RiVidium’s Approach New capabilities are put through the ArchitectureEngine™ to ensure compliancy and alignment with the DoDAF and BEA. Once capabilities successfully meet compliancy and alignment requirements, they are deployed automatically to a centralized UDDI registry. The SOAEngine™ also ensures that URL, Schema and Namespace information are consistent across programs. Benefits • Cost avoidance and service re-use • Automated service portfolio governance • Improved organizational effectiveness • Is the Key component to successful SOA adoption • Capabilities are easily discoverable across the enterprise Contact
