GovernanceENGINE™
  SOAENGINE™
RiVidium’s GovernanceEngine determines whether an architecture or systems’ development lifecycle adheres to standards. This Engine is driven by industry best-practices and policies. Deriving information from the Architecture, SOA or DataStrategy Engines, the GovernanceEngine generates deviation reports that facilitate bringing an architecture into compliance.
RiVidium’s SOAEngine deploys reference models, created through the ArchitectureEngine, to SOA foundations. Specifically, the SOAEngine deploys Business Reference Models (BRM) and System Reference Models (SRM) to the Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI).

ArchitectureENGINE™   Bricks and Patterns
RiVidium’s ArchitectureEngine uses the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) to enable the alignment of architectures between the system level, agency level and Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) level. This engine uses web services to translate different views and artifacts to reference models and patterns.   Bricks and Patterns are captured as part of an EA discipline. As these concepts are developed, RiVidium captures them in the ArchitectureEngine so that they may be effectively used in defining enterprise architectures. Patterns and bricks are tools for the architect in developing an enterprise's technical reference model. By separating the logical and physical, and then maximizing the potential these tools provide, architects can gain leverage in developing architecture road maps. This is what makes our approach an optimal one as it represents a one-stop shop for EA governance as we allow architects to validate the use of corresponding and appropriate bricks and patterns.
