IdentityManagement ENGINE ™

IdentityManagementENGINE™
  RiVidium’s Approach
RiVidium’s IdentityManagementEngine™ allows our customers to manage end-to-end lifecycle of user identities across all enterprise resources both within and beyond the firewall. Our solution integrates into DoD infrastructure elements like NCES Joint Enterprise Directory Services (JEDS) to enable cross theater access to information. Our solution is intended to accelerate application deployment by providing the framework for policy decisioning and enforcement that enables new and existing applications to leverage the existing infrastructure such as active directory forests, user account stores and privileges. This represents a key element in enabling the sharing of information with those that have a need for it. From a service paradigm perspective, organizations have their systems exposed to a wider user community, the scope of identity management becomes much larger, and its application more complex. Our identity management solution includes critical resources an organization uses to deliver online services.   IdentitytManagementEngine™ uses SOA methodology to handle identity management. Our Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) distribution engine uses best practices in policy decision point (PDP), policy enforcement point (PEP) and directory services to manage identity in an enterprise. We connect to authoritative sources like NCES Joint Enterprise Directory Services (JEDS) to ensure that identities are migrated from one theater to another in support of DoD personnel.

Benefits
• Reduce administration costs through centralized account management and automated tasks
• Provides global identification and authentication
• Accelerates movement of computing services for deployable units
• Enables cross-theater access
• Provides support for NCES Data Sharing Directive (DoD Directive 8320.2) to provide support to the Authorized Unanticipated User
• Supports RBAC to information via PDP/PEP approach
