The RiVidium Icon - on the right, is based on the chemical elements table. The RiVidium [Ri] logo element has the first two letters of the RiVidium name. The RiVidium name was envisioned by merging our founder and CEO Manny Rivera's last name with the chemical element Iridium. Iridium is the chemical element with atomic number 77 and is represented by the symbol [Ir]. A very hard, brittle, silvery-white transition metal of the platinum family, iridium is the second-densest element (after osmium) and is the most corrosion-resistant metal, even at temperatures as high as 2000 °C. Based on [Ri]’s derivative properties, the founders later presented the tag line “The missing element in technology” to finalize the RiVidium logo.
