SharePoint Development

Use our Contact Us page to request SharePoint development information!

RiVidium and our highly-qualified team members have been on the leading edge with Microsoft SharePoint -- both 2007 and the new 2010. Our SharePoint solutions feature tight integration with Rich Internet Application (RIA) that goes beyond the standard Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax) used by everyone else. We incorporate true Silverlight integration into the SharePoint user experience that leverages SharePoint's business-focused collaboration tools along with its extensible Identification, Authentication, and Authorization (IAA) capabilities.

Within DoD, SharePoint use has exploded and the need for Single Sign-on (SSO) integration with the Army Knowledge Online (AKO) using the Common Access Card (CAC) issued to millions of service men and women (and contractors!). RiVidium's team includes the people who won an Army award for the first SharePoint 2007 / AKO SSO integration using CAC - we know our SharePoint from the inside out!

RiVidium's SharePoint solutions don't just stop there -- we have built numerous Web sites and integrated dozens of our own specialized Web Parts to display innovative Web 2.0 dashboards and drilldowns that go far beyond the capabilities of SharePoint's built-in user interface.

Check out one of our SharePoint pages from below -- you'll see what we mean:

Biometrics Proof-of-Concept a Hit!

As part of RiVidium's ongoing work with the Department of Defense, we have built and delivered a complete Biometrics Proof-of-Concept to our customers. This POC features the ability to:

  • Read industry-standard fingerprints and perform a full enrollment
  • Uses data storage standard from the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM)
  • Features full compliance with the Army Data Services Layer (ADSL), which defines standards for compliant Web services development

RiVidium was at Enterprise Architecture Conference & Exhibition 2010

RiVidium has a great presentation available at our corporate blog site that you can download and review for free.

This year's conference from the folks at 1105 brought together over 40 government speakers who demonstrated how Enterprise Architecture can help Federal organizations in solving customers’ business challenges, and how Federal agencies can better explain the value of Enterprise Architecture to their customers.

The conference included 18 sessions focused on EA’s role in collaboration, governance, cybersecurity, cloud computing, transparent government , and case studies on Future Segment Architecture Models, launching SOA governance, and much more. Please see the conference home page for more details.

This is in addition to our groundbreaking and latest-generation Enterprise Architecture management suite. You can see dashboard demonstrations of this suite from our demonstration page. You can request live access to our flagship site at Enterprise Architecture Automation Framework (EA2F) (login required> by using our contact page.
